Big Bear bald eagle Jackie delivers 3rd egg of 2025
For the second year in a row, Big Bear bald eagle Jackie has delivered a three-egg clutch. Jackie and her mate, Shadow, welcomed the third egg of 2025 shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28. The egg arrived three days after the second and six days after the first.

Three’s a crowd! Jackie the Big Bear Bald Eagle was confirmed to have laid her third egg on Tuesday evening, according to Friends of Big Bear Valley, which operates the live feed of Jackie and her partner Shadow’s nest.
Jackie and Shadow are a mating pair of bald eagles in southern California, who have riveted thousands of viewers with the live cam of their eggs. The past two years, none of them hatched.
