The Arizona Humane Society is taking in 30 dogs displaced by the California fires to make room at shelters in California overwhelmed by the amount of misplaced pups. FOX 10's Kenzie Beach has the story.

Dozens of dogs stranded without homes due to the California wildfires were flown to Arizona where they will be taken to Arizona Humane Society kennels to be put up for adoption.

The scenes of devastation in California’s foothills are tragic and terrifying. Homes and businesses burning, cars abandoned, fire hydrants empty, are all reminders of the power of Mother Nature and the destructive consequences of California’s misguided policies.

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management sent 150 people and equipment to Southern California to combat wildfires that erupted Jan. 7.
