MSNBC has reportedly informed a majority of staffers who work on Rachel Maddow’s prime time opinion show that they are being let go as part of the network’s restructuring that resulted in the cancellation of Joy Reid’s program as well as those of other hosts.

A new report claims that MSNBC has told most of the employees who work on Maddow's prime-time opinion show that they are being terminated.

Maddow also pointed out Katie Phang's upcoming departure from her weekend slot in a rare rebuke of her own network's "indefensible" actions, she said.
