Computer models are coming into reasonable agreement that the D.C. area will see snow Friday night into early Saturday. This won’t be a big a storm, but up to a couple of inches could fall in parts of the region.

Winter storm warnings have been issued for all of north Alabama, including Huntsville, and the northern part of central Alabama, including Birmingham.

One last round of snow will develop across New Mexico Thursday. Light, widespread snowfall accumulations could bring icy roads in southern and eastern New Mexico through Friday morning. Snow moved through southern New Mexico Wednesday,

The winter weather advisory takes effect at 6 a.m. Thursday. Forecasters say 2-4 inches of snow could fall, with some sleet mixed in at the outset of the storm.
