Strong winds bring power cuts across South West
More than 4,500 properties are now without power in Devon and Cornwall as strong winds sweep across the South West. National Grid says 2,968 properties have been hit in Cornwall, with another 1,488 in Devon. Flooding between Par and Newquay means that the line is blocked, National Rail says.
