Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had an epic celebration with a Texas Tech fan who won a putting contest Monday night at men’s basketball game.

Patrick Mahomes is getting over Super Bowl disappointment by watching others enjoy their sports pinnacle. During the first half of the Houston’s 69-61 win over Mahomes’ alma mater Texas Tech, one Red Raiders fan lined up an incredible 94-foot putt and nailed it after finding a slow and steady path to the hole.

Tech was putting on a “putt a golf ball the length of the court into a tiny hole for a prize” contest (which have been all the rage this season in college hoops) and boy did they pick the right guy for Monday night.
