After letting go of two way rookie big man Anton Watson last week, the Boston Celtics elected to bring on Memphis Hustle (the G League squad for the Memphis Grizzlies) sharpshooting big man Miles Norris as their new prospect for that two way contract slot on the Celtics' 18-man roster.
Watson will become an unrestricted free agent if no NBA team claims him within the next 48 hours. The Celtics’ 2024 second-round pick (No. 54 overall) didn’t play on Sunday—and, in fact, hasn’t seen the court all season.
Shortly after Watson being waived, the Celtics announced they had signed Miles Norris on a two-way deal. Norris, 24, is known as a sharpshooting wing, and had been playing his trade with the Memphis Hustle.
