ICE raids were reportedly conducted across South Florida on Sunday as President Trump begins to make good on his promise to increase the deportation of undocumented migrants.

Miami office took to its X social media account to inform that federal agencies had conducted several immigration enforcement operations during the weekend, as several undocumented migrants were detained in Broward and Martin counties.

Photos posted to X by the HSI's Miami office on Sunday show agents taking several people into custody across South Florida, including Martin County.

James Ross Wightman, 65, a resident of glamorous Miami Beach, voted in both local and national elections in 2022, 2023, and 2024 before being arrested in Miami Beach Friday, according to a release from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. It’s not clear who the elderly man voted for.

A British national, previously deported from the United States, has been arrested for allegedly participating in multiple South Florida elections while residing in the country unlawfully.
