LAS VEGAS — Jack Eichel came to Las Vegas in 2021 with lofty expectations that he has mostly fulfilled, including helping lead the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup championship two seasons ago. Now he has taken his game to an even higher level.

On Sunday, the NHL revealed the Vegas Golden Knights’ quarter-century team. As you’d expect, most of the players featured on the “roster” were on the 2023 Stanley Cup Championship team.

The Golden Knights played a strong defensive game and beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday. Center Jack Eichel scored his third goal in two games. Defenseman Brayden McNabb also scored for the Knights (31-15-4) in just their third win in their last 10 games (3-6-1).

Anton Lundell scored for Florida, which was playing its second game in as many nights after cruising to a 7-2 victory against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday.
