Three people were killed and two police officers were wounded in a shooting at a northern Indiana grocery store. One of those killed shot at the police and is assumed to be the shooter. The other two deceased were pronounced dead at the scene.

A police department spokesperson said two people were pronounced dead inside the store and that the two officers “sustained gunfire” and were in stable condition.

Two people were killed and a person believed to be the suspect also died after a shooting at a grocery store in northern Indiana on Monday.

Police were called to reports of gunfiremon Monday evening inside the Martin’s Super Market on E. Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart, Indiana
