Rex Ryan says he’s convinced the Jets will hire him as the team’s next coach and vows to end Aaron Rodgers’ ‘country club’ if the QB returns.

Rex Ryan told ESPN New York radio that he believes "100%" that he'll be the New York Jets' next head coach and detailed some plans for the team.

Ryan joined ESPN Radio the day before he will speak with the Jets. During his chat, Ryan said he “100 percent” thinks he is going to be hired in New York. Simply put, the always-confident man thinks he’s the No.1 person for the job.

The New York Jets are on the hunt for a new head coach and could be going back to an old friend to fill the vacancy. Rex Ryan, who coached the Jets from 2009-2014, completed his interview for his old position Tuesday.

A day before the scheduled meeting with Jets owner Woody Johnson, Ryan believes he’s the best candidate for the job and that he will get his old job back.
